Black forest

Finally, I get to try the black forest. Last time, the last piece was sold in front of me. Today, I was there just after black star opened, n got it. I also bought the new lemon raspberry cake. I liked the lemon raspberry cake. I didn’t like the black forest that much. Too alcoholic….

Asanas – pineapple yoghurt popsicle

Trying out a restaurant/bar Popsicle. Quite nice n refreshing. The yellow powdery stuff are popping candy, n the reddish stuff is raspberry something.

Istana Restaurant

Impromptu sort of dinner at Thornleigh, and a surprise addition of Mr P_P Pretty nice and inexpensive malaysian restaurant, although it may be slightly out of the way. And on the way back, Mr P_P directed me onto the highway to Gosford!! Instead of Chatswood. More photos…

Dessert before dinner. It’s quite nice. Three flavors in this cup. Yoghurt, lychee and coconut. Ain’t it pretty?

Brioche French toast for brunch. Looks quite pretty.

Spicy beef n pork noodle soup. Big bowl. Taste is alright and would have again.

Bargaining for fresh coconuts in Fiji

Drove and stopped by a roadside stall selling fresh coconuts in the late afternoon. And of course, you gotta bargain abit. Mum: How much for coconuts?
